Each year, the AFL  celebrates the incredible people who make grassroots footy possible through the TOYOTA AFL National Volunteer Awards.

These awards recognise volunteers, administrators and club champions from across the country who go above and beyond for their clubs and communities.

Whether it’s the coach who shows up every week with energy and encouragement, the team manager who keeps everything running smoothly, the committee members planning behind the scenes, the quiet achiever behind the canteen and BBQ, the club umpire who gives their time rain or shine, or those working behind the scenes on communications, photos, or social media — now’s the time to show them some love!

    • Young Leader of the Year (Under 25 years of age)
    • Community Club of the Year
    • NAB AFL Auskick Volunteer of the Year
    • Diversity Ambassador of the Year
    • Disability Inclusion Ambassador of the Year
    • National Community Umpiring Service Award
    • Community Coaches of the Year (Women & Men)
    • Schools – Teacher of the Year & School of the Year
    • National Community Football Media Award
    • National Community Football Photography Award
